This is the year we finish this place for sure!
After a nice, long, relaxing holiday, we're finally back at work.
There isn't anything major to do, but there is lots of little stuff.

Here's Mike installing shelving in the hall closet.

I decided to get the kitchen in order.
You have no idea how nice it will be to have
a fully functional kitchen.

Time to fill the closet shelves and get rid of the
extra cabinet that has been wasting valuable floor
space in the living room for FAR too long.

While I was in the main house being all domestic, Mike was
hard at work finishing drywall in bedroom number two.

He hates finishing drywall, but he hates unfinished work even more.
This room is just about ready for the first coat of paint primer.

See how nice the kitchen looks now?

We have a television!

Here I am cooking dinner in my clean kitchen.

I spent most of the day on Sunday touching up cabinet paint.

After a coat or two of polyurethane (sealer),
the cabinets will be complete.

Mike spent the day in the garage hanging insulation ...

... and installing the last of the ceiling drywall.

Now we'll be able to keep the garage warmer.
