Oven Installation

December 7 - 9, 2007

No, Mike didn't get a buzz cut and gain 30 pounds. That's our friend Chuck.
He is an electrician. His expertise was needed to hook up the 220-volt wiring
for the oven. I stayed home to continue holiday preparations (shopping).

We needed Chuck's expertise, but we also needed his tools.
There's a special tool you need for the much-heavier wiring.

We have a working oven!

It may look Brady-bunchish, but it was included as a freebie
with the cabinets. The top unit is a standard oven and the bottom
unit is a convection oven. Despite being an older model, it is in
almost-new condition. I'll just have to spray paint it.

It does make the kitchen look small, though.

Mike also installed closet hardware in the master bedroom closet.

And special little faux drawers for storage by the kitchen sink.

Hard as it is to believe, another year is coming to a close.
We won't be back in West Virginia until 2008.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!
